A little while back I posted a video about the nature of reality (vs illusion) that I thought was pretty damn insightful. This one, however, blows it out of the water.
It talks about how closely the nature of the universe and our consciousness are linked—as if they are each figurative holograms—and gives a host of real world examples to support it, ranging from poltergeists to placebos.
As in the previous video (and the Pion comic), the idea I find most unbelievably cool is how, given certain circumstances, two electrons can communicate instantanously with each other—regardless of their physical separation. David Bohm’s fish/aquarium example is such a perfect example of this, too; it really helped me visualize the complexity of what is going on, not to mention how awesome partical physics can be.
