Earth to Bella, Pt. 1 – Incubus. —[crank it; there’s a few INTENSE parts worth listening too]
Incubus: a truly peculiar band, for me. The songs of theirs I like, I fucking love. Everything else, I hate. (So far, at least). Usually, I find if a band creates a song that I really love, I tend to enjoy some of their other less-amazing-but-still-listenable tracks. ‘Tis not the case with Incubus.
It’s now time for another shameless plug: if you haven’t heard Aqueous Transmission yet, then I feel sorry for you, and your lifestyle, and any of your possible future children, and their lifestyles. Prepare to hear something unlike anything you’ve ever heard a semi-mainstream contemporary band produce. Spark up, turn it up the bass, sit back, close your eyes, chillllllll out.
