How strange would it have been to be a person who actually stopped and listened? Would I feel great for having broken out of my daily bubble, or just weird for being the only one to do so?
Case in point: why I think the word ‘weird’ is as much a compliment as a criticism in many cases. Also, ‘tis why I proclaim the word ‘whack’ now means ‘weird, in a cool way,’ rather than ‘bad, in a lame way.’ This switch is long overdue.
