Bob Hawkesworth has been the only mayoral candidate to clearly identify a list of priorities and to take the position that economic planning cannot be at the expense of community development and social cohesion. Privileging economic policies over social policies only further widens the gap between the ‘haves & have nots’. Progress does not necessarily have to create winners and losers.

Someone commenting on a recent facebook status of Bob’s.

Someone who just so happens to have worded my exact sentiments more eloquently than I’ve been able to do thus far.

It ain’t a Saturday night without the Freaks and Geeks boxset and a glass of wine. At least not in this house.
